Original Art Deco Walnut and Macassar Dining Suite, Can you see the animal in the veneer? What colour leather would suit?A stunning and rare original art deco dining table with book matched figured walnut veneer and macassar cross banding. The attention to detail during the design process all those years ago is second to none. Even the pedestal bases have the same wood combinations that continue down the canted corners. Can you see the animal in the veneer looking at you? Its identical on all 4 larger sides of the pedestal bases and looks amazing!
The table commissioned by it previous owners in the 30s is a wider table than usual and was regularly used by 8 comfortably The photos show all 8 chairs, 2 of which are carvers.
Similarly the sideboard has the most magnificent shape and is great for storage, once again you see the different woods complementing one another so beautifully.
This outstanding quality suite is ready to be reupholstered, you can see from one of the photos that the chairs have walnut either side of an upholstered centre piece on the back rest leading to an arched top, the actual chair backs are full walnut. I am leaning towards cream leather but it would be lovely for its new owner to personally choose the colour!

This beautiful figured walnut original art deco pop up cocktail bar is simply outstanding. A very rare and unusual top quality piece with so much character and quirky design and only the best materials used. With cross banded veneered curved corners at the front running the full height of the bar this stunning piece is so sleek and elegant. The bar pops up from the back and has a mirrored and chrome detailed interior with shelves. To the left side you have a pull out mixing tray and the right a lined cooler/ice drawer. When you open the top drawer you have the full complement of original utensils required for preparing those cocktails and just below is the cupboard with great bottle storage so that they are all at hand. Original Art Deco Epstein Dining suite, table with , 6 chairs and cocktail cabinetAn original Art Deco Epstein dining table with shaped corners and fluted detailed edges which are typical Epstein characteristics. It sits upon pedestal bases and has a glass top to protect the figured book matched walnut veneer. The 6 chairs are upholstered in cream leather and have figured walnut backs. The matching cocktail cabinet is lovely and handy for storage with cupboards at either side and drawers in the centre, one of which is felt lined. The top centre opens to reveal a mirrored and satin wood interior with cocktail sticks and lemon squeezer all still in place.
